   While there are so called ’9′ Mario Kart games, the two arcade games do not count. The reason for that I theorise is that 1: it was co-developed by Namco and 2: it never saw a release on any proprietary Nintendo console (either home or handheld). Looking at every single Mario Kart developed and released by Nintendo FOR Nintendo hardware, Mario Kart for the 3DS technically is the seventh game in the series.

   Besides, Mario Kart has always remained a fun game to me (especially the DS version) and I look forward to playing the new Mario Kart on the 3DS (which I really do need more games for).

The problem is they will keep making mario kart games as long as they keep making money, and half the damn games are scams because you pay $60 USD when half the levels are recycled anyway. Also, the new levels tend to be shit. Instead of scamming gamers why don’t they simply give you the download of all the old levels (who cares about updating the graphics lazy douches) and spend time on something that will actually help the game grow. Oh that’s right MONEY. It costs them money to do anything that will take more than 2 seconds of thought (including a title) and why waste the time when they will profit regardless? video game companies don’t care about quality of games anymore, just profits. (doesn’t it piss anyone else off when they obviously release a game early just to immediately have DLC that should have been in the game in the first place? mainly xbox360)
