It’s Been Real
When Lisa had asked me to write for this site... wait. Did I say ask? I think the conversation went like this:
Lisa: You should write for my site.
Me: Ok. What should I write?
Lisa: WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT! IT'S MY SITE ROBLES! DO IT!
Anyways when Lisa demanded I write for her site I was very excited. I had only just met and hung out with Lisa a few times, but we got along great. We still do. It was obvious that my style of humor was going to be a fun match for Save Point. I started writing. I wrote some fun articles, shared awesome things and even got the scoop on Gamer Wine before our resident lush Lisa.
There is some amazing talent on this site. Some of the best articles I've seen from any gaming related site in a long time. Oh, and there's Lisa. Then my articles didn't come as fast as I wanted them to and life decided it wanted to be a dick about things and throw a bunch of lousy stuff in my way. I took a small step back and wrote when I could. I was getting too busy and I started to feel like Save Point had become an afterthought. That's never a good feeling to have.
I'm leaving Save Point.
There are things that must be done, and while it's not what I want to do; it's what I need to do. I was honored to have even been a part of this amazing site and I've had a blast getting to have my name along such great content producers. I can walk away knowing that the site is in very capable hands. The site continues to grow, and continues to put out amazing content.
