Mega Man is Back in a Capcom Fighter!

Oh wait, you wanted him in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3? Oh. Sorry. We put him in Street Fighter X Tekken. Oh...and you wanted the sprite style Mega Man. Oops. Sorry. We just made the model after the box art on the NES cart, not the traditional Mega Man look. Oh, and we added him in with Pac-Man in a mech suit, Cole from inFAMOUS, and Kuro and Toro, two characters that most US players have no idea who they are. Oh, and they're exclusive to the PS3 and PSVita. Hope you don't mind. What...

I think putting Pacman on the body of Modku…Mokodue…the wooden dummy from Tekken is genius, but that Megaman looks like Rufus from SF4 trying to do really bad cosplay…

I was never really a Tekken player, so I had no idea what they were going with on that one. I just saw Pac-Man on a mech.

Mokujin was basically Tekken’s Shang Tsung expy, in that he mimicked other characters movesets.
It seemed like those cat things – which I too wasn’t familiar with until I Googled their asses – were trying to be a similar deal to Gon, who was a tiny dinosaur in Tekken 3. Sadly according to Wikipedia they’re going to have Ryu and Ken’s movesets, so unfortunately I doubt there’ll be a hilarious comedy fart move to go with them, otherwise I’d be more psyched. Because yeah, dragon punches are cool, but the cheap use of dinosaur farts is the mark of a true WARRIOR.

You know, if Capcom hadn’t canceled some potentially great Mega Man Games and had included him in Marvel Vs Capcom 3, I’d be ok with this fat 80s USA box art Mega Man. It’d be a funny little joke.
But..That’s not the case. Instead, this just feels like they’re openly trolling Mega Man fans now.
