Lisa in The League of S.T.E.A.M.
Remember all the way back in August of 2011 when we helped support The League of S.T.E.A.M. on a second season? Well that support benefited not only the S.T.E.A.M. Gentlemen, but also our own Lisa as well as she just guest starred in the most recent episode as Shelly the Mermaid. Gee...a red-headed mermaid...where have I seen that before? Anyway, so watch, like, promote, and the like. It's shows the rarest creature of them all. No, not mermaids. Mermaids are far more common than the ultra rare sight of Lisa going outside...

Honestly I think its funny as hell. The next step to make it funnier is getting guys who break down film and such for those tiny details, like those whackos on ghost shows that show you a shadow and claim its a ghost.
Next week we’ll see a response video with three guys sitting around a desk analyzing the video and claiming with certainty they can see a boob. And my response will be to promptly drop dead from laughter.

Cool cameo Lisa, you looked great as a mermaid. I hope Shelly returns in a future episode, we didn’t actually see the kraken kill her so it is possible.

I wouldn’t be surprised… “tentacles and cute girls” never seem to work out in the aforementioned anime, but I think Lisa could handle her Kraken just fine. They even make it in a bottle these days! ;-P

Perhaps I am reading too much into this, but I was most amused by the fact that the guy with the long beard is named “Jasper”, as in the Simpsons. “Looking at my beard: that’s a paddlin’. Paddling the school canoe: oh you better believe that’s a paddlin’.” He seems to have had a colourful life before settling in Springfield.
I did also laugh when he said the mermaid’s name was “Shelly”. How soon before you start getting seashells in the mail from adoring fans?
