Jeff Cannata for Nathan Drake
(From Jeff's Instagram page)
Forget Mark Wahlberg. Nathan Fillon's still pretty darn close. But Jeff Cannata from Totally Rad Show? He wins the Nathan Drake award so far. Besides, as he put it, "Well, @dannytrs [Dan Trachtenberg] has his Portal movie and @alexalbrecht [Alex Albrecht] has Voltron, who can put me in a badass Uncharted short? ;)”. Anyone care for an Uncharted short film with Mr. Cannata leading? I have one vote for yes.

I would generally agree with that, however there are a lot of passionate people that are making very good stuff out of video game licences trying to turn that trend around. I highly suggest you click on that link to Dan’s Portal short film and see a very good film on the Portal concept. ahh but stuart i’ve thankfully never touched that game nor will i ever. wanting video games to become movies is like wanting comic books to become movies. Ghostrider is my FAVORITE comic of all time…..and i’m sad to say that I’d be a better johnny blaze (plus i’m not some 50 year old trying to play a mid 20′s character) Hollywood just loves to take their own spin on things and skull fuck it into a soulless body then whore it out to the masses by hyping the crap out of it.
If i could write and cast a movie i would but sadly writers block has had it’s hold on me for some years now >.>
