I Want to Punch George Lucas in the Face

(Title and link provided by Brian Brushwood)

Above is the "Kid's Featurette" on Star Wars: Episode 1 coming out in 3D soon. I...just...there are no words. I just feel bad for the poor voice actor who had to say those lines. That had to have been the hardest recording session ever.

  1. Stuart… Why would you go and do this to us? I mean, my fault for clicking the video, but ouch. Makes me wonder why in the hell I was so excited when this came out on DVD when I was working at Blockbuster as a high school kid. What the hell did I see in this one anyway?

  2. “Late” is probably the single worst word they could have used in a sentence addressing Qui-Gon. Even “dead” would’ve been better because at least it wouldn’t have been a terrible pun.

  3. HELP ME TURBOMAN! ITS TURBO TIMMEEEEEEEEEEE!

  4. Please tell me this was only shown during Nick Jr. and not on Network television.

  5. “There’s every type of droid here!”

    What, even Hemma?

  6. I really hope they don’t do an ad like this for the original movies.

    • STAR WARS: EPISODE 5 – THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is coming to the big screen…

      …in 3D!

Come on Luke! Need a hand? Eww, that’s your sister!

That sound can only mean one thing – Darth Vader! The greatest sith lord in all of the galaxy. Did you know he’s Anakin Skywalker?

“I… am your father…” Whoops, spoiler alert!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. It’s not all fun. It’s a good thing we have Han Solo and Chewey to protect us, as well as the smoothest man in all of the galaxy, Lando Calrissian!

      Wooooaahhh! Chill out Lando!

You know what? I can’t do this anymore. God damn this video…

  7. NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…

  8. Money… sometimes you gotta pay the bills! It can be the ONLY reason why the commentator did it. That, or the incriminating pictures Lucas has on him!

  9. Yeah… I gotta say Mr. Lucas is going to have to do without my money for this release. On the up-side my son should be just about the right age for his first Star Wars Movie when he gets around to Episode IV.
