BLOG: Your Favorite Game Character Probably Needs a Shower

So the other day, I may have grabbed what I thought was a clean pillow case, only to realize the next morning that I was sleeping on something that smelled like warm ass. And because of this inability to recognize dirty vs. DIRTY laundry, I also woke up that morning with a giant cheek-raping pimple. It looks like a mosquito had sex with my face. But aside from my hygiene and lack of housekeeping skills, it got me thinking:

Assassin’s Creed, Ezio, and You.

The next chapter in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, will be out next year this November and will find you running around cities as the sexy Italian Mario Luigi Waluigi Ezio. This is true despite numerous reports Ezio was done, and the series needed a breather. Now, I like the Assassin's Creed games because it allows me to say the word ass, twice, freely around small children without getting arrested. I also like the games simply because I like assassinating things - LIKE YOUR DOG THAT WOULDN'T STOP BARKING.

Ubisoft Montreal's Jean-Francois Boivin said this late last year, prior to AC: Brotherhood's release:

"I don't think there's going to be an Assassin's Creed in 2011. I think we're going to let it breathe a bit and really focus on bringing something new and exciting for the next time around. This [Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood] is the end of Ezio's story. This is it."

But then THIS!

"Delivering the final chapter of the Ezio trilogy is an important milestone in the Assassin's Creed franchise for us and for our fans," said Alexandre Amancio, Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal. "Assassin's Creed Revelations includes lots of new features and some significant surprises. We can't wait to show our fans what we have in store at E3 this year."

It's just like the French to change plans and surrender their position.
